WMS & SCMS Travel Grants
The War and Media Studies special interest group will again offer TWO small travel stipends for members accepted into the annual conference. Both stipends will be $100, and the competition will be restricted to our graduate student members and those who are precariously employed. The award will be determined through random selection from among applications received by the annual deadline.
Update February 3, 2023:
In wonderful news, our previous co-chair Karen Ritzenhoff has generously donated $100 to support a THIRD travel grant. She donates this grant in honor of Eileen Rositzka, a founding WMS member. Please follow the link to read about Eileen’s life and thought-provoking text Cinematic Corpographies: Remapping the Body Through Film.https://www.warandmediastudies.org/?p=372165
